David Bridges is CEO of Kier Living Limited (currently a division of Kier Group but soon to be sold to Terra Firma and re-launched as Tilia Homes), a construction company responsible for building quality new homes across the UK. He has held various leadership roles in the property and construction sector and was previously a Partner in a Big 4 consultancy.
When I approached David to participate in an interview about leadership, his response reminded me of his frank and down to earth approach. He said,
"I think we tend to offer some mystique to leadership when good leadership is common sense".
This excited me, as whilst books on management and leadership have their value, nothing beats honest, relatable advice.
